MUSA JEME BEN

Founder & Executive Director

Ben is a human rights activist advocating for marginalised communities facing discrimination and exclusion.

Through Nakujali, he leads trauma-informed yoga, youth empowerment, women’s leadership, and inclusive advocacy initiatives

Aksanti Bienfait Ba

Strategic advisor 

A contemporary artist and advocate, Aksanti leverages his lived experience of exile to guide Nakujali’s mission. He translates the complexities of displacement into strategies focused on resilience, human dignity, and collective healing.

Sheilla Maombi

Program Manager 

Tsheilla Maombi ensures NJF’s programs run smoothly by managing resources and logistics, optimizing support for refugees and orphans with efficiency and dedication.

Juliet Mahivuno

Team leader

Juliet leads trauma informed yoga sessions at Nakujali Foundation and coordinates field activities as a Team Leader. She supports children, youth, and women in building emotional resilience, confidence, and wellbeing through inclusive and healing centered practices.

Izabella izimukwiye

Secretary 

Izabella supports the administration and coordination of Nakujali Foundation. She manages documentation, communication, and organisational records, ensuring smooth internal operations and effective programme support.

MEL Coordinator

Melisa leads Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning at Nakujali Foundation. She tracks project progress, measures impact, and ensures accountability through data collection and reporting. Her work strengthens learning, transparency, and continuous improvement across all programmes.

Nshobole Bafunyempaka

Finance

Nshobole oversees financial management at Nakujali Foundation, ensuring transparency, accountability, and responsible use of resources. She manages budgeting, reporting, and financial documentation to support effective and compliant project implementation

Tatiana Bitale

        Games  coordinator

Tatiana leads games and sports activities at Nakujali , using inclusive play to empower refugee children and youth. She creates safe spaces where young people especially girls build confidence, teamwork, and resilience through sport.

Josephine swede

Safeguarding 

Josephine ensures the safety and protection of all participants at Nakujali Foundation. She oversees safeguarding practices and promotes safe, inclusive spaces for children, youth, and vulnerable communities.
